International Symposium on Porous Organic Polymers
August 28th—September 1st, 2022 • Boulder, Colorado, USA

POPs 2022 Speakers
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our great pleasure to organize the 3nd International Symposium on Porous Organic Polymers (POPs 2022) in Boulder, Colorado (USA) and invite you to visit this beautiful college town in the mountains of the American West between August 28th and September 1st 2022.
After two very successful editions of this symposium in Zhangjiajie (China, hosted by Prof. Bao-Hang Han) in 2017 and in Heidelberg (Germany, hosted by Prof. Michael Mastalerz) in 2019, the POPs conference scheduled for 2021 was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Returning in 2022 as a hybrid between an in-person symposium and a high-quality virtual conference, the third POPs meeting will feature invited and contributed presentations on the numerous facets of research on porous organic materials, including amorphous polymers, soluble polymers of intrinsic porosity, covalent organic frameworks, from 2D to 3D, but also molecular porous materials like organic cages and molecules of intrinsic porosities. Across this range of structures, the symposium will explore the fascinating chemistry happening in their nanoconfined spaces and applications of these polymeric materials in diverse fields including pollutant removal, CO2 utilization, catalysis, gas separations, membrane development, and nanomedicine.
We already have an exciting lineup of invited talks:
